The State of the Art skid is built on a 1993 GMC/Volvo Semi Tractor.   The design is the brain child of two of our 65 plus members Frank Burkholder and Don Dufner.  The truck was constructed in the winter of 2003 with all volunteer labor numbering 17.  The main sponsor is Hall's Truck Center of North Dakota.

The truck is the weight transfer 26,000 lbs and the mechanism is controlled by a sensor in the back wheel connected to a computer in the cab.  All controls are initiated in the cab including the  announcing of the events by remote microphone.

We can be ready for a hook every 2 minutes.
